We finally made it to New York. With mother being around, we are traveling more than usual. This weekend we went to see the one and only ‘Statue of Liberty’. It was nice and bright during the day. The city is crowded like anything. It reminded me of the Old New Delhi city. Stuffed roads, crowded streets, lots of people, food carts selling kathi rolls and biryani, numerous local and branded stores to shop, people playing music on the road, selling you passes to the next comedy show and what not! At one point, I was overwhelmed! Yes and that’s quite something coming from an Indian. And the parking sucks! I don’t mind paying for the parking if that’s how it is, but $45 for a day! Are you kidding me? I would rather be walking on foot or riding a bicycle or may be just staying at home! 😛
That being said, I think it is safe to say that I love.. love, love love Virginia. This is the best place I have ever lived in. But yes, New York was interesting. And no, it’s definitely not my favorite!
This dress is a favorite. It fits like a glove. The pink border makes it stand out in the crowd! It really is the fairest dress I have, hence the title 🙂
P.S. This is the second bag of the two I talked about earlier.
