This was our first year celebrating Halloween. And oh what fun it was! Technically the night hasn’t ended yet, but the trick-or-treaters are probably off to bed by now (at least mine is!). We dressed our little munchkin as a Bumble Bee and took her trick or treating and also handed out lots and lots of candies to the kids. This was our first Halloween since moving in to our new home. It was lovely meeting our new neighbors and getting to know the neighborhood. Frankly speaking we enjoyed the night more than her. Oh how fun it is to be a kid again! We made so many memories which will be cherished for life. She may not remember these times but we definitely will! Happy Halloween!!!
Oh well.. where do I begin? I’M A MOTHER!! Alright, technically I became a mother the minute I conceived, but still.. the feeling of holding your child in your arms is beyond words or any form of expression. Motherhood is so rewarding, so satisfying, so so awesome. I thought I knew what is love before. But man.. this is intense! 🙂
Honestly, I did not mean to go in to hiding all this time.. I was just busy being a mommy to my baby girl! Yes, we had a Girl. She came in to our lives on December 14th last year, and since then is the center piece of our beautiful small world. 🙂
Everything changed with her arrival – our life, our priorities, our goals. Motherhood gave me a new birth too. And I am loving every second of it.
Blogging took a back seat if I may say. But I don’t regret going offline, even if it wasn’t planned. What can I say, I just had my hands full. Now that we have (kind of) settled in a schedule, and I have got (may be just a little) hang of being a mother, I thought of dropping by here and saying hello to you all. Trust me, I have not abandoned this blog in any way. All I can say is, I will be more regular here from now on. And this blog will (as always) be centered on fashion and lifestyle. I am kind of excited about what’s to come! Plus THE BLOG TURNS 5 TODAY. Yikes!! So what better day to share the news with you all..?? I promise I am celebrating tonight.
Ok, enough of talking. I know you might want to see some pictures so here we go!
Oh and her name is Keva 🙂 My Keva!
I know June is almost over and we are stepping in to July (my birth month aka the ‘best’ month 😉 ). But I have to share with you all that we went to Miami in the month of May to celebrate 5 blissful years of our marriage. Truth be told, I loved the getaway, but was uncomfortable most of the time. I was in my first trimester of the pregnancy hence my taste buds were horrible and exhaustion was at its peak. Plus the acne wasn’t helping either. The bump wasn’t much visible yet, hence I was able to wear all my usual stuff. The thing is, we planned this vacation a few months in advance so we did not want to cancel it. Nevertheless, all went well! Honestly, I love the fact that I am so close to beaches now that I live in Orlando. We spend every alternate Sunday on a beach.
Dress: Marshall’s | Sandals: Franco Sarto | Bag: Gifted | Watch Fossil
This white dress was my choice for our date night. I wanted to keep it romantic yet simple.
Blouse: Target | Skirt: Asos | Sandals: Zara | Bag: H&M
The yellow and black color combo worked really well. I like how the yellow color strikes more with a black base.
Dress: Forever 21 | Sandals: Franco Sarto | Bag: H&M
This dress is my personal favorite for vacations. It’s light, sexy and summer appropriate. Sometimes I also wear it as a cover up over my bikini.
Dress: Tommy Hilfiger | Sandals: Sam Edelman | Bag: Gifted
Nothing pleases me more than a maxi these days. The ease and comfort is what I look for when travelling. Specially now that I am pregnant, maxi dresses are the only thing that I want to wear, all the time. Can you blame me!
Dress & Necklace: Thrifted
These are selfies. Unfortunately, I do not have a full length view of this dress. Anyhow, the off shoulder style gave my enough room to breath, feel sexy and enjoy the sunny weather! What more one could ask for? 😉
My (cute little) Blog turned 4 last week! Yikess!! I celebrated that night. At home. Cooked Pasta. Husband and me devoured. Clicked zero pictures. Sorry, no proof! 😛
Now that another milestone has been achieved, let’s move on! It was a bright Sunday morning. After gulping a huge/delicious brunch at an ocean-view cafe in my city, (can’t you see I love Florida??) we strolled on the ocean-walk, clicked pictures, spent an hour or so just talking, and admiring the view and weather. Such Sundays are the best, I tell you!
