I gave in. Finally. I had to. After all these months of resistance, I gave in and bought a pair (actually two!) of maternity jeans. Initially I thought of not wearing denim pants at all once the bump starts increasing. I thought I would simply rely on my linen pants, loose fitting dresses and stretchable skirts etc. But then, there were days when I really missed wearing a good pair of jeans. I used to look at the pile of my regular (now old) jeans, and sigh.. thinking when will I be able to wear them again! Since all my regular pants are no where close to my waist-line anymore! So I finally took a deep breath and brought two pairs – a skinny fit (my choice) and a boot cut fit (husband’s choice).
The only thing holding me back was that these pants won’t be of much use to me post-delivery, but then I ready of a lot of blogs, where women talked about wearing the maternity pants way after their deliveries (since obviously the belly doesn’t go back to ‘flat’ the next day of delivery). Well that made sense and so here it is!
P.S. Your girl is 21 weeks preggo here! The jeans and the loose blouse are hiding the bump quite nicely, I must say.
P.P.S. Every week it feels like I’m achieving a new milestone. To think of it, I keep getting closer to holding my babe in my arms. 🙂

I love these crisp Fall mornings we are having here lately, which is also the best time to go for a run! The incredible feeling when my lungs get filled with fresh, fall, crisp morning air – Oh! My whole day gets better. Fall, oh Fall, why can’t you stay forever..
The other day I was talking to my husband and I told him (actually put my foot down), that when we build our dream home, it should have a gym of my own, and no it can’t be in the garage or in the basement. I want a proper ventilated gym! Yes. Generally I like to workout in the open (because I do a lot of HIIT stuff), and hit the gym only when I have to lift weights. I even installed a door way pull up bar at home a month back. Not only that, I keep free weights and a yoga mat handy in my Car trunk (so that I can workout anywhere, if I want to)! Fitness is an obsession, a way of life now. I don’t think I can ever go back to being the same girl I used to be in school (who used to sit at the corner and watch while others used to play in the field). This journey has been great! Umm.. I am still not where I ‘want’ to be! But, what is the point in being satisfied with where you are, we all should set high (achievable) goals for ourselves. And I have a long way to go, my friends. But the plus side is I feel I am getting younger every day (no kidding)! 🙂

Boston is a beautiful city, incredibly beautiful! I moved to this city 7 months ago and I still haven’t got over the fact that my city is so picturesque, to say the least! You must visit at least once in your life!
I have already transitioned my wardrobe to fit for the Fall weather! Printed leggings are not only comfortable, they make you look chic, and add an extra punch to the outfit! Throw in a scarf and you are all set! I wore my Vans with this outfit because it was a city surfing day and I wanted to be able to run in town freely!
