We are going to do something very brave coming Sunday. I’m sure a lot of people have done it before. But for us, this is going to be the first time traveling with a baby – a four and a half months old!! You have no idea how nervous I am. I don’t know how our baby girl is going to react to her first flight experience, being away from home for 5 days and staying in a hotel. I am trying to think of every possible thing to pack which we may need (you know, just in case..?!!), but I’m still so, so anxious. All experienced moms out there – if you have any tips or suggestions for me, please let me know. I’ll be grateful!
In case you are wondering, we are going to Philadelphia. It’s a work trip for husband and a vacation for me and little Missy. We booked the tickets a month ago and back then I was actually quite excited about the whole trip. However, as the travel is coming closer, I’m getting restless by the minute! Well, we’ll see what ever happens when it happens, right?
Now that I’m a mother, all I think about it how easy and comfortable my clothes can be. I’ve given up on skin fitting dresses for now. Not because I still have 10 pounds (from my pregnancy) to lose, but rather due to the fact that I just want to move freely and be comfortable.
They say skinny jeans are very comfortable. Trust me, they stand no where when it comes to wide leg pants. The fluidity of these pants adds grace and length to our gait. It looks like I’ve really put an effort in dressing, though in reality it barely took me 5 seconds to pick these two items from my closet before heading out the door. The
I dare you to think outside the box next time when you dress up. Go for something you would not pair otherwise.. like flare and ruffles or a dress over jeans, or a basic slogan t-shirt over a sequins skirt. You see? Just go crazy! Have fun with clothes. But keep in mind to follow just one rule that ‘there are no rules in fashion.’ 😉

It was almost impossible to take pictures that evening with the crazy wind blowing (and that is why my friends, you’ll see me trying to control my hair in every other picture.. smh). Out of 30 pictures that we took, only 5 came out right (where I’m not eating my hair, or have a hair-mustache or blinded by my own hair)! But I’m not complaining since summers here in Florida are so hot and humid – I’ll take whatever Spring weather I can get.
Pink pants. Never thought I’ll ever wear them. But here we are. These pink chino pants are so comfortable, how could I not? What I really liked about them was that they are not ‘in-your-face-pink’. The faded pink color gives them a more casual look and makes them more wearable.

Hope my readers are still there in this virtual world somewhere, expecting a post from me (I so hope that). Well, not making you all wait any longer, let’s start to today’s post which is sort of a BIG FAT NEWS!!
Truthfully, I missed blogging badly (no, really!) but did not have the strength or the mojo to concentrate on my virtual existence. My body is going through one of the major (and wonderful) changes ever which is why it needed the extra TLC. Now that I am back to my ‘better’ self, I am more than happy to share with you all that I am Pregnant!! We are super excited. Beyond excited. Nervous. Proud. Happy. Hopeful. Impatient. And tons of other emotions which are hard for me to explain!
I always wondered how can you love someone even before you meet them. Is that even possible? Well, now I know. 🙂
While I go through this roller coaster of a wonderful journey, I have planned to make you all a part of it as well. As of today, I am 16 weeks pregnant (though these pictures are a few weeks old, hence the bump is not that noticeable). I will share some latest pictures in the next blogpost (pinky promise)!
Till then.. Take Care and Love to all!
