Once and again, I keep coming to the editor’s page of the blog to write something, and trust me I have so much to blab about! It’s just that I am swamped in my office work these days sooo much, that I hardly get time to think/do something else. Yes, yes I know there are weekends, and holidays.. etc.. But honestly, who wants to sit in front a computer on a weekend or a holiday for that matter? I make sure not to switch on my computer on my off days. Live life etc. etc.. That is how I roll 😉
These pictures are a month old now (I know, that is ‘ancient’ in terms of fashion blogging), but I loved how these turned out, so had to post them. Hope you enjoy!! <You know the drill – my blog.. my rules> 😛
P.S. These pictures were clicked when overcoats weren’t a necessity yet, weather was favorable, and leaves were still shedding.. I can only dream about that weather now! Sigh….

Boston is a beautiful city, incredibly beautiful! I moved to this city 7 months ago and I still haven’t got over the fact that my city is so picturesque, to say the least! You must visit at least once in your life!
I have already transitioned my wardrobe to fit for the Fall weather! Printed leggings are not only comfortable, they make you look chic, and add an extra punch to the outfit! Throw in a scarf and you are all set! I wore my Vans with this outfit because it was a city surfing day and I wanted to be able to run in town freely!

As much as I love to wear scarves in my daily life, I don’t think my blog gets that much of ‘action’ when it comes to scarves. I have may be 30 or so scarves in my closet! I wear them mostly while dressing up for work. But on weekends, I like to keep my hands free. I don’t like things hanging out from my body (cue fringes, scarves etc.) when I am out on weekends having fun.. specially when I know I am going to be doing a lot of walking. But still, scarves add charm to any outfit, if paired correctly.

You know what is the best thing about a fit body? It’s the fact that nobody can steal this or take this from you. You earn it for yourself and you enjoy it all by yourself!
Whenever I feel lazy or low, this thought always comes to my mind. Nobody can take this from me! I am doing this for ME – and not for my husband, or friends, or my dog (hypothetical..!!) or anyone else! All the benefits of a fit and healthy lifestyle will be enjoyed by ME only. And those who sit and stare will keep on sitting and staring! Ha! Isn’t that amazing that you enjoy all the success by yourself! No one can take it from you. You are your own master.. 🙂
Being fit is not an option for me anymore, it’s a necessity. After 6 years of working out, dieting, falling off the wagon so many times and starting again – now I know what works best for my body. Now I understand my limits. I know how my body reacts to certain foods and certain workouts. You need to understand your body, treat it as your best friend, talk to it. That is the best way trust me! Treat it like your baby. You don’t neglect your baby.. if your baby is hungry you NEVER neglect it or avoid it! You make sure to feed it right then. You take care of your baby, bathe it, nurture it, feed it and love it. Your body is your first baby – it’s a place where your soul resides. And trust me – you may lose everything in your life – money, home, valuables, but your body will always stay with you till your last breath! Now it’s up to you in what state you want to see your body in your later years – Healthy or needing someone’s attention! Choice is Yours. 🙂
