Florida baby!

And just like that, we moved to Florida. Okay, not ‘just like that’.. it was one hell of a move (read: exhaustion, packing, unpacking, driving, packing, loading, unloading, more packing, and then more unpacking.. phewww!!)
Finally, all that is over. (THANK GOD!!). Truthfully, I am done ‘moving cities’ for another 5 years and just want to relax and call it a day! I am honestly VERY tried of packing/moving/selling furniture, then buying furniture!! Have been doing it for the last 3 consecutive years (every February) and it’s so NOT fun!!
But the upside is, I finally moved back in with my husband. Yes, I might not have mentioned it here on the blog, but he and I were living in different cities for the past year (he in Washington D.C. and I in Boston) – all work related folks.. no hard feelings! Sometimes you gotta take tough decisions in life! And here we are. Back together again! Oh it feels so good, just like homecoming. ๐Ÿ™‚
An amazing thing happened with my move to Florida, I left the Winters and snow behind! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Now, all you gonna see on this blog are mini skirts and dresses (the length of which, by the way, will keep riding up day by day). The weather isย very pleasant here these days, and shamelessly I am going to rub it in your faces.. (specially my east-coast readers).. haha!!
Till next time!
P.S. Can you see that I can’t conceal my excitement?? Beach, sand sun!! Oh my.. this is going to be funnnn!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€
P.P.S. Thank you so much for staying with me through this ‘blog-break’. I promise I am back (for good). If you are reading this, you are my most favorite reader. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Neon Pink Shirt

I only packed this one pair of jeans for my trip (and this sweatshirt, a dress and this shirt – that’s it… oh plus tons of skin products!!! ). This jeans is almost four years old. It was just a weekend trip and I knew I was going to do a lot of walking, so you see no heels, nothing extraordinaire, no shenanigans! Give me shoes over flats any day and I’m a happy girl.

One chance and I was back at the King Street – my favorite street (in Alexandria) that ends with a river. After travelling to so many places, I can say – If given a chance, I would love to get settled in this city! Actually I can never get tired of sight-seeing in this city. I love everything here – Everything. I miss living here.. now I am mere a ‘weekend visitor’! Ughh.. sigh….
