Now that Labor day is over, we can move on and accept the fact that Fall is here (though the official date is Sep 23rd), I already feel the change in climate. I have re-introduced my leather skirts, burgundy lipsticks and big scarves back in to my closet! I don’t know if I am happy or sad about summer getting over. Let’s just say Autumn is my favorite season of all the seasons and leave at that (on the other hand, I’m not in to Winters at all.. like AT-ALL)! Why can’t it be Fall forever! 😛
This is what I wore this past weekend city strolling. Like I said, you will see lots of magenta, burgundy and ruby shades on the blog this month! I love how these colors represent the transition in the weather and also make you glow!
I call this a retro outfit with an edge! The polka dots, the lace and these white sunnies make a decent combination! Don’t you agree??

No matter how much I claim my favorite color is Red, it can’t compete to the number of blue clothes I have in my closet! Even I am surprised, honestly. I have barely 2 red dresses, 2 or 3 (max) red blouses and 1 pair of red pants. That’s it! Huhhh!! Well, it seems I need to sit back, relax and seriously ponder over this whole ‘my favorite color’ thing! I obviously need to sort this out (for my own-self, at least)! 😉
How is Monday treating you..?? Well, I am back in Boston, back to work, back to the usual stuff. These pictures are from D.C. when we (as in me and family) visited to the National Harbor in Maryland.

Now that I am back to the usual grind of life (which means my vacation is over), I feel much more inspired (to blog more) and eager to venture in to new things as well. Let’s see what do I think of, and come up with!
This short break made me realize the value of small things in life which we tend to overlook and don’t feel thankful for! I was in a small town of Mexico, where life is very slow. Most of the people live by the day with no big goals in life. And there are also people who have been working/doing the same thing for years (or in some cases, all their life)! There aren’t many opportunities for them in that town to explore or try. And everyone does not want to move out. I am not saying it’s a bad thing, I am simply stating the fact that life is not fair to everyone. So if you get a chance at something, grab it. And be thankful for it. Though I am one person who keep thanking the supreme power for anything that happens in my life. If it’s good, then I take it as a reward, if it’s bad I thank God for not making it worse. I always think ‘it could have been worse’ and then suddenly feel thankful for whatever happens.
On the outfit front, the idea behind this outfit was ‘not’ to accessorize at all. In case you can’t see, I am not even wearing earrings (and I never ‘not’ wear earrings), no watch, no rings, no necklace nothing. Just a belt, which was part of my dress. I wanted to see if not accessorizing would make an outfit non-glamorous. Well, the answer is ‘the only accessory you need is a smile’. Isn’t it?

If it isn’t clear enough, let me put it in to words.. I have been neglecting the blog for a few days. Every time I sit to write something, I just go blank.. then out of boredom I close my computer and just walk away! But I guess, this brief hiatus will only make me come back with lots of inspiration and so much more to talk about! I am excited about the 4th of July weekend – the parade, the fireworks and all the fun! This time it’s going to be double fun for us. Till then, enjoy some pictures from Boston downtown 🙂
P.S. I have a hair appointment for tomorrow. I am going to chop these locks once again! Time for a new cut – I am bored of this bob length.. Let’s see what do I walk out with 😉
