As much as I love to wear scarves in my daily life, I don’t think my blog gets that much of ‘action’ when it comes to scarves. I have may be 30 or so scarves in my closet! I wear them mostly while dressing up for work. But on weekends, I like to keep my hands free. I don’t like things hanging out from my body (cue fringes, scarves etc.) when I am out on weekends having fun.. specially when I know I am going to be doing a lot of walking. But still, scarves add charm to any outfit, if paired correctly.

One must not overlook the possibilities of a scarf. I repeat – MUST NOT.
Adding color to an outfit should not be limited to lipsticks, or handbags only. A scarf does the job quite well too. I thought of wearing my in a little different way this time (mind you – there are thousands of other ways). Anyhow, for this post I am styling my scarf as blouse. Well, I did nothing but tied up two ends around my neck and the other two ends at my back. The blazer cleverly covered the messed up knots behind. That’s it. You are done. And yeah try to mix prints and textures if you like.. go wild! I kept it simple for today though!
Tip – During summers, skip the turtleneck entirely, and wear your scarf as a tube top as it is, or better, wear it over your bikini! Voila.. style has a new meaning!! And would it be wrong to say that this outfit will suit the lovely occasion of Valentines too!
Also, I just got my hair trimmed (ah.. nothing major just a regular trim). I am sticking to this plan for now.

They don’t say it wrong when they tell you to click pictures under the setting sun. It was 7:15 pm when we clicked these pictures yesterday. I usually prefer clicking blog pictures during the day or when the sun is bright and shining! I love the clear lighting.. however these pictures have a different mood altogether. Love how the setting sun is acting like a backdrop in itself! On other note, please do notice my new pair of denims (if you haven’t already.. duh)! I love, love the color and the fit is pretty amazing too.

Stripes are actually very easy to style. They are basically a no-brainer! And if you are fond of wearing stripes as I am, let me show you 8 super cool ways to style stripes (though there are hundreds of them)!
Also, let me know which one is your favorite..
