And just like that, we moved to Florida. Okay, not ‘just like that’.. it was one hell of a move (read: exhaustion, packing, unpacking, driving, packing, loading, unloading, more packing, and then more unpacking.. phewww!!)
Finally, all that is over. (THANK GOD!!). Truthfully, I am done ‘moving cities’ for another 5 years and just want to relax and call it a day! I am honestly VERY tried of packing/moving/selling furniture, then buying furniture!! Have been doing it for the last 3 consecutive years (every February) and it’s so NOT fun!!
But the upside is, I finally moved back in with my husband. Yes, I might not have mentioned it here on the blog, but he and I were living in different cities for the past year (he in Washington D.C. and I in Boston) – all work related folks.. no hard feelings! Sometimes you gotta take tough decisions in life! And here we are. Back together again! Oh it feels so good, just like homecoming. 🙂
An amazing thing happened with my move to Florida, I left the Winters and snow behind! 😉
Now, all you gonna see on this blog are mini skirts and dresses (the length of which, by the way, will keep riding up day by day). The weather is very pleasant here these days, and shamelessly I am going to rub it in your faces.. (specially my east-coast readers).. haha!!
Till next time!
P.S. Can you see that I can’t conceal my excitement?? Beach, sand sun!! Oh my.. this is going to be funnnn!!!! 😀
P.P.S. Thank you so much for staying with me through this ‘blog-break’. I promise I am back (for good). If you are reading this, you are my most favorite reader. 😉

I couldn’t be happier for this Monday to arrive. No, I am not going on any other vacation, or have something ‘fun’ planned. I am just happy to be back in office! Strange as it sounds, this past weekend I simply stayed at home, did some laundry, bored myself to death, ate home made food and binge watched Netflix. It is that time of the month when I am usually broke (salary to be credited soon 😛 ) and hence, the whole stay at home saga!
I am glad to be back in office and meet familiar faces! On a different subject, I am really.. seriously.. madly.. loving the pixie hairstyles lately. I am even thinking of getting one! What is life if you don’t try the things you like (at least once)! Huh.!! 😉

All our last plans failed when it kept on raining non-stop till afternoon. I was heartbroken and felt so angry (but at who??) that we had to stay in the hotel and do nothing but wait for the rain to stop!
Shopping was not on our to-do list for this vacation specially. We agreed on enjoying it to the fullest with a free mind and a light suitcase. We almost achieved our target, but the weather betrayed us. We had no other option but to spend the last day in a mall or a museum. My sweet and loving husband is actually not that much in to museums as I am.. Though I gave him the idea of going to the local museum, he denied. Then we were left with no other option but to spend the day in a shopping mall. We then went to the closest Outlet Mall and the rest is history..
We Shopped! More than we should have.. Haha.. (that always happens with
He bought me not one but TWO handbags from Coach!! That’s my Anniversary Gift. He said ‘This is my gift to you for successfully putting up with me for 3 years!!’
Thank you husband and I love you (you already know that!). This is how our vacation ended. Then early next morning, we flew back to D.C. Few pictures we clicked while shopping –
Yes, that’s my gift!
